On a sandbar where the flood dropped them lie two bodies: a Triceratops and a slim young tyrannosaur, tangled together in the sand. Sixty-six million years from now, in 2006, a rancher will find them exactly like this in Montana — the 'Duelling Dinosaurs', among the most complete skeletons of each ever found, now at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Whether they died fighting each other, or simply washed up side by side, is a question scientists are still working on.
